The people of Arizona have made it clear that abortion is an issue which should be decided by the voters, not the legislature or the courts. I was the first candidate in LD2 to call for the immediate repeal of the 1864 territorial abortion law and I have encouraged multiple ballot measures with different abortion policies to be sent to the people in order to have Arizonans decide the abortion laws of the land.
I always have and always will support access to IVF and birth control. Organizations like Future Freedoms should be ashamed of themselves for lying to voters and misleading them about my position.
A focus of mine as your Representative will be ensuring that young women facing the challenges of motherhood have all the support they need to choose life: including quality pre-natal care, parenting classes, and financial support where necessary.
Unfortunately, my opponent has decided to lie about my position on this issue. It is honestly quite sad that out-of-state politicians feel the need to lie about me in order to try and win an election.
